1. Scope of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to the New Energy Grid EMS Cloud Cloud Platform and remote orchestration of paired GEMS edge controllers managing solar inverters, battery storage systems, EV charging stations, and smart thermal loads.

2. Electrical Safety & Edge-Autonomous Operation

On-site electrical installations must comply with applicable national wiring regulations (including Belgian AREI/RGIE, Dutch NEN 1010, or equivalent EU standards) and retain certified physical overcurrent breakers, RCDs, and manufacturer BMS protections. Safety-critical load balancing continues running autonomously on the local GEMS controller even if internet connectivity is interrupted.

3. Dynamic Tariffs, Forecasts & Savings Estimates

Day-ahead EPEX Spot market curves, 24-hour solar forecasts, and estimated savings figures are decision-support tools derived from market feeds and local meter telemetry. Official utility billing is determined solely by your Distribution System Operator's revenue-grade meter and energy supplier contract.

4. Account Credentials, Sharing & Installer Governance

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and managing shared household or facility permissions (Controller vs. Viewer). We strongly recommend enabling TOTP two-factor authentication in /account. You may adjust or revoke remote installer access at any time from your unit Settings.

5. Governing Law & Support
